Texas Rangers catcher Jose Trevino made some noise with the bat during Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. He went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and one RBI in the 3-2 loss. It was a nice outing, but the 28-year-old remains an avoidable fantasy option. This season, Trevino is slashing .229/.256/.325 with four home runs and 28 RBI. He'll likely have to compete for a spot on the roster next season.

The 27-year-old left-hander was making his 11th start of the season after missing almost two months after fracturing his left index finger in spring training.
