Tue Jun 10 201400:35George Kottaras hits third homer
George Kottaras went 2-for-4 and hit his third homer in three starts Monday against Rangers.
Kottaras was making just his second appearance since being recalled on May 27. He also played in one game for the Indians in early May while Yan Gomes was out and hit two homers in that one. So, in three games this season, he has three homers and three walks, plus a lone single. Which is pretty good for a guy who has been up for grabs three times since the end of last season. Hopefully, the Indians keep him around as Yan Gomes' backup and just forget about having Carlos Santana catch again.
