The Los Angeles Dodgers declined club options on second baseman Chase Utley, starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo and reliever Joel Peralta, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.Utley hit just .212 with eight homers this past season for the Philadelphia Phillies and Dodgers, including .202 with three homers in 141 plate appearances for the Dodgers.He will turn 37 next month but does not plan to retire.Utley's club option was based on the number of days he was on the disabled list in 2015, and it came out to $11 million, according to multiple media reports.The 38-year-old Arroyo, who was acquired from the Atlanta Braves at the trade deadline, did not pitch this season. The Dodgers will buy him out for $4.5 million instead of picking up his option for $11 million.Peralta, 39, pitched only 29 innings and had a 4.34 ERA. The Dodgers did not pick up his $2.5 million option.

Arroyo was dealt to the Braves in June, along with Touki Toussaint. The veteran pitcher has battled elbow issues this year and has not appeared in a game in over a year. This trade gets the Braves out from under Arroyo's salary, which includes an $11 million team option for 2016 with a $4.5 million buyout.

Arroyo was traded to the Braves Saturday night, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.

Touki Toussaint will join Arroyo with the Braves, while Phil Gosselin will be sent out to the Diamondbacks. Arroyo has yet to appear in a Major League game this season as he has battled an elbow injury.

Arroyo (elbow) is expected to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Jack Magruder of FOX Sports Arizona reports.

Arroyo is at about the 10-month mark in his recovery from Tommy John surgery and shouldn't be expected to return to action until after the All-Star break. He'll require several bullpen sessions before the Diamondbacks entertain the idea of having him face hitters.
