Wren was promoted to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.

Wren earned a promotion to Colorado Springs with a sizzling month of June that saw him hit .397 and post an .884 OPS. Two of Colorado Springs' four outfielders on the roster are on the disabled list, so Wren figures to see plenty of action in the outfield right away.

Wren went 15-for-41 (.366) with five RBI and two stolen bases over his last 10 games with Double-A Biloxi.

Wren was hitting just .212 at the end of April, but he has been picking up hits with increasing frequency over the last few weeks, and now owns a .283 batting average on the season. He has just four extra-base hits on the year, but does own a 22:24 BB:K ratio, .366 OBP, and 17 stolen bases in 50 games.
