Gamboa was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Rich Dubroff of CSN reports.

Gamboa will be removed from the 40-man roster and remain at Norfolk, where he's 8-10 with a 4.36 ERA in 109.1 innings. The 30-year-old, minor league veteran has spent his entire seven-year career with the Orioles organization, but he's yet to log a game at the major league level.
